More Brexit problems

What people buy alongside this one.

I think, therefore I am not a Daily Mail reader.

In January 1934 the Daily Mail ran the headline Hurrah for the Blackshirts, its owner Lord Rothermere lending Britain's biggest paper to Oswald Mosley's fascists. In November 2016 it put three High Court judges on the front page under the words Enemies of the People, because they had ruled that Parliament should vote on Brexit. Eighty-two years apart. Same instinct.

In between it has blamed most of what ails Britain on migrants, single mothers, the unemployed, the EU and people who eat lunch. The one constant suspect it has never investigated is the paper itself.

I think, therefore I am not a Daily Mail reader.

This is the shirt for anyone who prefers their news without a villain of the week. It also makes a pointed gift for the relative whose worldview arrives on the doormat every morning.

The front design states the syllogism plainly.

Care and materials

Machine wash cold and inside out, then tumble dry low or hang it up. Do that and the design will outlast the government that inspired it.

100% combed and ring-spun cotton, pre-shrunk and side-seamed, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping so it holds its shape. The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified, which means it is tested free from harmful substances and safe against your skin. Every shirt is made to order in small numbers rather than mass produced and left in a warehouse.

About Very Brexit Problems

VBP started in 2016, on the day the country voted to make itself poorer and called it sovereignty. What began as a way of coping turned into a community of hundreds of thousands of people who never stopped believing Britain belongs in Europe.

Every design starts the same way. Something absurd happens, somebody has to say so, and a shirt says it for a good deal longer than a tweet does. Mocking the con since 2016.
