Very Brexit Problems started in 2016 because Brexit was a catastrophically stupid idea backed by liars, funded by foreign money and cheered on by a press that knew exactly what it was doing. A decade later we've had the racism, the economic damage, the rise of the far right and Nigel Farage collecting millions from a Thai crypto billionaire while telling working people he's one of them.

The Office for Budget Responsibility puts the cost of Brexit at 4% of GDP every year. The people who promised it would be the easiest deal in history got knighthoods. The man who spent twenty years positioning himself as the anti-establishment outsider is now the highest-paid MP in the House of Commons, draws an EU pension for the institution he spent two decades trying to destroy and still can't explain where £5 million went.

VBP exists to say, clearly and without apology, what a lot of people are thinking: that Brexit was a con, that the far right is a threat, that facts matter and that the people running this project into the ground deserve to be mocked as thoroughly and as often as possible. We do this with data, satire, sarcasm and the occasional devastating one-liner.

Nearly a decade on, the community is close to half a million people across social media with content reaching 10 million+ people every month. We are, apparently, not the only ones who noticed.

The shop exists because now is not the time to keep your opinions to yourself. Pick the right side of history and wear your allegiance with pride.
